Bright Brussels 2023: three light routes in three districts
Bright Brussels returns from February 16 to 16, and is set to adorn our streets with a thousand magnificent lights! Over 4 days, every evening from 7pm to 11pm, three light trails will welcome you to the heart of the capital, making the city shine and sparkle.
“For this new edition, Brussels’ brightest rendezvous illuminates three districts: the Royal district, the European district and the Lehon district, all the way to Avenue Louis Bertrand [for the first time] in Schaerbeek“, say its organizers. “These itineraries are subtly punctuated by some twenty immersive and poetic works [26 in all]”, add its teams.
These little illuminated masterpieces will lull your imagination and leave you with unforgettable memories, and lots of stars in your head! And for those with a sweet tooth: a food court will be set up on boulevard de l’Impératrice, near Gare Centrale.
Art Nouveau and museums open at night
In addition to the 26 light installations, Bright Brussels ‘ illuminations will feature the city’s Art Nouveau buildings. As a reminder, the Belgian capital has been proclaimed “Art Nouveau Capital” in 2023! It’s the perfect opportunity to showcase these nuggets of our beloved heritage!
For art lovers, 7 of the city’s museums will be exceptionally open at night! These include the KBR Museum, Bozar, Musée de la BD, Musée Schaerbeekois de la Bière, Autoworld, Atelier Kult and Institut Liszt.
