To make these giant Peanut Butter Cups you’ll need :
- 350 grams of chocolate
- 360 ml milk chocolate
- 15 ml vegetable coconut oil
- 80 grams peanut butter
- 35 grams powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla flavoring
- 1 pinch salt
How to proceed?
- Melt the dark chocolate in a saucepan over a bain-marie. Add the milk chocolate and coconut oil and mix well. Make sure the water doesn’t boil too much, and that you don’t spill any water into the mixture (otherwise you can start all over again!).
- Once the chocolate/milk chocolate/vegetable coconut oil mixture is smooth, remove from the heat and pour half the mixture into a tart tin. The base should cover the entire bottom of the tin. Place in the fridge for 15-20 minutes, until completely set.
- Meanwhile, mix the peanut butter and powdered sugar with an electric mixer for 4 minutes. The mixture should be light and fluffy. Once this is done, add the pinch of salt and the vanilla liquid. Then carefully place your mixture on parchment paper. The shape should be similar to that of your mold.
- Remove the tart tin from the fridge and carefully place your peanut butter disc on top. Pour the remaining chocolate over the peanut butter. Gently tap and turn your mold until the chocolate completely covers the peanut butter layer.
- Refrigerate again for 15-20 minutes. Always remove your giant Peanut Butter Cups 10 minutes before devouring!
Bon appétit!
