Amid the gilded splendor of the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, the Théâtre du Vaudeville is set to undergo a complete transformation: Candlelight: Peaky Blinders is coming to Brussels.
Known for celebrating the great masterpieces of film and television, the Candlelight series has already featured the music from *The Lord of the Rings*, *Outlander*, and Disney classics by candlelight. This time, it’s the Shelby clan’s turn to take center stage.
Does Steven Knight’s cult series really need any introduction? Six hit seasons on the BBC between 2013 and 2022, a feature film in 2026 titled *The Immortal Man*, and a unique look: flat caps, fitted vests, and pocket watches. But what also makes *Peaky Blinders* so compelling is its music: modern rock set against the backdrop of 1920s England. This explosive blend, performed acoustically by candlelight, takes on a whole new dimension.
Théâtre du Vaudeville
Throughout this hour-long immersive concert, you’ll be thrilled by the sound of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ iconic “Red Right Hand” (the series’ legendary theme song) and the Arctic Monkeys’ powerful “Do I Wanna Know?” A powerful and impressive experience to be enjoyed amidst thousands of candles.
No specific attire is required. That said, 1920s style is strongly encouraged. If your newsboy cap or your finest vest has been patiently waiting for its moment at the back of your closet, you’ll never find a better occasion to bring them out.
Dates haven’t been announced yet: sign up for the waitlist to be notified first and take advantage of the presale before tickets go on sale to the general public.
