That’s the promise of Balloon World Adventure, which has taken up residence on Place Rogier. Balloon World Adventure takes the extraordinary gamble of recreating the world with balloons. In all, 9 rooms representing the 5 continents of the planet await you for an odyssey you won’t soon forget. Passport in hand, discover the pyramids of Egypt, the jungles of Amazonia, the magical landscapes of Canada and the animals of Australia. The highlight of the show? A zone where you can give free rein to your creativity and imagination. As you can see, the hardest part of Balloon World Adventure is coming back down to earth.

For the team in charge of the project, it was essential to combine entertainment with respect for the environment. The balloons are made from 100% natural latex. They are created from the sap of the rubber tree. It’s an entirely natural process. Balloon World Adventure ‘ s missionis also to educate the younger generation. To show that it is possible to have fun without damaging our planet. We’re told that all the balloons will be recycled , and only 6 garbage bags were used during assembly. A bet kept!
Behind this project, a team from the four corners of the world worked hard to achieve this result. In all, some twenty designerswere involved , aided by numerous volunteers . Guido Verhoef, who has won several awards as one of the world’s best teachers and designers, heads up this team of… big kids!
