While we’re still recovering from December 31, it’s time for a new kind of festivity: Chinese New Year, celebrated around the world on Saturday February 10, 2024.
What is Chinese New Year?
Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year, marks the first day of the first month of the Chinese calendar. Also celebrated in other Asian countries such as South Korea, Tibet, Vietnam and Singapore, the start of this new year is synonymous with festivities in the countries concerned.
In Brussels, too, the city will be alive with festivities. This year, the festivities will be held under the sign of the Wooden Dragon. Here are three not-to-be-missed activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year in Brussels!
