Starting July 18, Mind of a Serial Killer: The Experience invites visitors to follow a reconstructed investigation from the inside, in a scripted environment where each space highlights a stage of the investigation, with a journey spanning more than 20 stages. Here, there is no melodrama, but rather an immersive experience built around clues, analyses, and psychological profiles, designed to explore the mechanisms behind the cases of serial killers such as Bundy, Gein, Dahmer, and many others.
An immersive investigation centered on psychological analysis

The journey unfolds across several settings, each embodying a facet of the investigation: interrogation room, crime scene reconstruction, audio installations, replica objects… The whole experience is designed as a thread to follow, where visitors are led to connect details , interpret clues , and understand how investigators proceed in these often complex criminal cases.
The focus is on how cases like those of Bundy or Dahmer were deconstructed, with set elements faithfully inspired by real cases, without seeking to over-dramatize. The goal: to provide access to a more analytical understanding of the facts, investigative procedures, and psychological profiles that run through these stories!
Criminal cases at the heart of contemporary culture

If this type of experience generates so much interest, it’s also because it’s part of a broader craze for crime stories. Documentaries such as *Conversations with a Killer* (Ted Bundy), *Jeffrey Dahmer: Confessions of a Serial Killer*, and series like *Mindhunter* have helped popularize a more analytical approach to criminal cases, where the goal is to understand rather than simply observe.
The Brussels experience extends this logic into a physical space, where visitors almost become participants in the investigation, moving from one stage to the next while remaining in a position of observation and reflection.
This exhibition contains graphic or potentially disturbing content. Not suitable for children under 16.
Combining immersion, investigation, and psychological exploration, *Mind of a Serial Killer: The Experience* promises to be one of the most intriguing exhibitions to discover in Brussels in the coming months.
