As we have no secrets for you, we’ve already revealed our favorite Italian restaurants in Brussels. We’re always on the lookout for the best places to eat in the city, so we’ve unearthed a little nugget that’s sure to please your stomachs. Located in Ixelles, Ciccio is all about good food in exceptional surroundings. The restaurant’s little extra: a beautiful hidden terrace. Bruxelles Secrète tells you more about this new restaurant to try.
Ciccio: this Ixellois restaurant boasts the city’s most beautiful hidden terrace

In place of the former 52 & the Secret Garden, you’ll now find Ciccio. A little history. In Belgium, the “tchitcho” are the Italians. By extension, in Italy, if someone calls out to you “Hey Ciccio!”, you should understand it as “hey buddy”. So you’re about to enter a world that smells of pasta and pizza.
But that’s not all: Ciccio also stands for gastronomic values. In this classy street food restaurant, artisanal and local products are at the forefront. So you can eat well and well. To whet your appetite: for 11€ you can indulge in “Supplease”, a maxi croquette filled with risotto, black truffle cream, scamorza, oyster mushroom pesto, chives and hazelnut slivers (Pata Negra bacon 3€ extra). The cocktails are also to die for.
And because we also eat with our eyes, this intimate restaurant in the entresol of an ixelloise mansion has a setting that’s the stuff of dreams. We’re totally in love with their hidden terrace and white brick walls. We also love their tableware, which takes you straight to the Amalfi coast without leaving Belgium. With their slogan “Naughty by Nature”, we can’t help but enjoy their finger-licking street food and natural world. Buon appetito!
