From June 2025, the Galerie Horta in Rue du Marché aux Herbes 116 will be transformed into a time ship, propelling visitors into the fantastic world of Jules Verne. The Jules Verne 200exhibition offers total immersion through eight interactive rooms, spread over more than 1,000 m². Visitors can explore the worlds of Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Around the World in 80 Days, Robur the Conqueror and From the Earth to the Moon. This ground-breaking exhibition uses cutting-edge technologies such as virtual reality, immersive spaces and metaverses to complement the traditional museum space, in the service of Jules Verne‘s singular imagination, thanks to the expertise of IDEAL (Layers of Reality). In fact, it’s their most ambitious large-scale production yet!
Visitors will be treated to a sensational 3D film projected on over 1,000 m² of screens, enhanced by a dome for multi-dimensional perception, and a metaverse enabling them to travel through the universes of Jules Verne’s five most popular novels. In addition to the purely immersive aspect, visitors will enjoy a more conventional exhibition space featuring art installations and digital creations that illustrate the impact of Jules Verne’s work on popular culture.
