A brand-new electronic music festival is set to set the “Cité Ardente” ablaze, and it’s got what it takes to make the speakers shake all the way to Brussels. Its name? LEMF, short for Liège Electronic Music Festival. Its promise? Three days, five stages, and eight local collectives finally joining forces for a major music event.
A festival born from the Liège scene, by the Liège scene
Forget the copy-and-paste lineups that get recycled from one festival to the next. The LEMF is banking on a more original concept: letting eight iconic Liège collectives —Onyra, Massai, Outrance, Atlas Rcrds, Surreal, Vizion Focus, Hybrid Nights, and Aime2—each curate their own stage, with its own distinct sound. The result: a single weekend whereyou can go from the sunniest house to the darkest hard techno, with stops along the way for drum & bass, trance, breaks, and even ambient, depending on your mood at the moment.
For its first edition, the ambition is high: more than thirty local artists will share the bill with about ten international headliners, whose identities are still being kept under wraps. That’s sure to keep the suspense going.
Two venues, raw energy: between the Ateliers Centraux and the Salle de l’OM
The LEMF has carefully selected its venues. During the day, head to the Ateliers Centraux for open-air sets at sunset. At night, head to the Salle de l’OM, where the club format takes over until 5 a.m. for night owls who can’t sleep a wink.
The choice of these two iconic venues in Seraing is no coincidence: it’s also a way to shine a spotlight on an industrial area undergoing a cultural transformation, just a stone’s throw from the center of Liège.

Between LEMF and Les Ardentes, the Liège scene is gradually carving out a place for itself in today’s music landscape. The organizers make no secret of their ambition: to turn this festival into an unmissable annual event, just as other Belgian cities have successfully done with their local scenes.
