For daredevils and brainteasers. A Fort-Boyard-style indoor play area is all the rage in Brussels. After the resounding success of the experience in France (worthy of that of the Prison Break series in 2005), Prison Island is exported to the flat country to challenge the people of Brussels.
Prison Island: a brand-new adventure game
The concept? An adventure game in which you have to overcome various challenges, both physical and intellectual. In short, a cross between Prison Break and Fort-Boyard. Not to be confused with an escape-game. Here, the aim is not to escape, but to get from one cell to another by completing as many challenges as possible. In all, 32 challenges, 32 cells.
Claustrophobes beware: you’ll never be locked in, and there’s always a way out of the challenges. You’re also in control of game time: you decide how long you want to play , from 1 to 2 hours.
An indoor version of Fort-Boyard
Aside from your relentless logic and cool-headedness, you’ll also need to be a team player. Working in teams of 3-4 players in the same cell, you’ll need to communicate with your teammates to succeed in technical, tactical and physical challenges. “The Nest”, “The Tunnel”, “The Slippery Slope”, “The Plunge”, “The Prison”… And to reinforce the competitive spirit, the score is displayed in real time. “No time, gotta go!”
