When the mercury rises, we look for fresh, original ideas… and a little festive! This recipe for rosé ice cream ticks all the boxes: easy, ultra-refreshing and perfect for surprising your guests at the aperitif. A must-try on the hottest days of summer!
Serves 6 Prep time: 5 min Cook time: 5 min
Ingredients
- 1 bottle dry rosé
- 60 cl water
- 200 g sugar
- …that’s all there is to it!
Recipe
Heat the water with the sugar. When the mixture has cooled, add the rosé wine and strain into an ice-cream maker.
Don’t have an ice-cream maker? Don’t panic: you can also place your mixture in the freezer and mash it with a fork every quarter of an hour or so (less convenient, it’s true, but the mixture will be all the fresher for it!).
Serve and consume within two or three days. Now you’re the perfect host for iced aperitifs!
Bon appétit!
