Admire the Manneken Pis dressed for St. Patrick’s Day
This year, the Manneken Pis will take on the colors of Ireland on March 17 from 9am to 6pm! Thanks to a costume donated by the Irish Embassy and Tourism Ireland, Brussels residents will be able to admire the man in a new outfit: an “Ireland” beret, a chunky knitted wool sweater and green pants to keep with the theme. This should come as a surprise to tourists!

Brussels Saint Patrick’s Europe Day Parade of the Nations & Region
It’s impossible to miss the annual parade of the Irish in Europe. For this 16th edition, the parade will start from Halles Saint GĂ©ry at 1pm and arrive at the Grand-Place at 3:30pm.“The parade is of paramount importance as it brings different aspects of Irish art, music and culture into the public sphere and invites everyone, Irish or not, to celebrate the positive values of inclusion, openness and community” explains the organization. And so it’s a benevolent, international celebration on March 17, under the theme of “Making Irish Art a Reality – Connecting in Ireland, Europe and the World”!
