The heart of the village is dominated by the imposing Saint-Roch Church, a listed building rebuilt following a major earthquake in 1692. The architectural landscape is complemented by an elegant Louis XIV-style rectory featuring a curious chronogram, as well as two majestic mansions: the Château de Sclassin (late 16th century) and the Château de Soiron (18th century).
The village also stands out for its exceptionally well-preserved heritage, featuring wayside shrines, a triangular washhouse, and a former brewery. But the most unusual relic remains its 19th-century thistle-drying shed, a reminder of the era when the local textile industry used thistles to full luxury fabrics. Finally, the village’s history is enriched by folklore, notably the legend of the raven of the keep, said to have saved the chatelaine from a tragic assassination attempt in the 17th century.
