On the program: an immersive journey into the depths of Frida Kahlo’s artistic vision, made possible by cutting-edge technology. Floor-to-ceiling 360-degree digital projections recreate the key events in the life and iconic works of this total artist. Accompanied by a soundtrack specially composed for the event, this multi-sensory exhibition pays vibrant tribute to Frida Kahlo, with an explosion of intense colors doing justice to her flamboyant pictorial universe!
Indeed, far more than a traditional exhibition, Viva Frida Kahlo is a truly sensory and emotional experience. Combining visual art, sound creation, spectacular lighting and immersive narration, visitors are immediately immersed in Frida’s singular world. Deeply autobiographical, it explores universal themes such as identity, gender, motherhood, illness, death, passion and solitude.
In this second edition of the exhibition, the public can admire 10 paintings in a striking projection. They can also learn more about the famous Casa Azul , recreated in an immersive installation, and enter the artist’s creative intimacy. It’s also an opportunity to immortalize the moment in a colorful floral photocall.
