In April, Candlelight’s candlelit concerts invite you to revisit the repertoire of these icons in a classic version, in majestic venues around Brussels, surrounded by thousands of candles. At the Concert Noble or at the Planetarium of the Royal Observatory of Belgium, you’re in for a treat.

Training for Eurovision with the Euro Party
With the Eurovision season in full swing, The Euro Party invites you to warm up with a special evening. For its 5ᵉ edition, the organizers have thought big: the event takes over the Plein Publiek, a larger venue right in the heart of the capital. You’ll be able to dance the night away to the song contest’s most iconic anthems, including “Strobe Lights” by our national Red Sebastian . Gay Haze celebrates its 8th anniversary! Sunday’s most ecstatic tea party is back in force with a scorching line-up. Sassy Brunch is a feast for the senses!

The quintessential LGBT-friendly film, Wicked is still in cinemas. This latest version of the film stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. Celebrating self-acceptance, Elphaba’s quest against animal oppression has always been seen as a metaphor for the Pride movement. If you haven’t seen it yet, or if you’d like to see it again, the Centre Culturel Jacques Franck is offering a screening at a very friendly price too.

In April, dance the night away at La Démence, Brussels’ iconic LGBT party.
Europe’s biggest gay party returns in April for an explosive night of clubbing at Fuse. Andrei Stan, Pagano and a handful of other DJs take care of the music. There are also shows on three floors, and be warned: the atmosphere promises to be torrid. The event attracts over 2,000 clubbers – mostly men – every month.

Pauvre fille ! is a play by Julie Lombe and Sara Machine that tackles economic injustice, and in particular gender inequality, with humor and daring. Through a quirky civil servant character, the show explores how women, particularly in the LGBT community, are victims of economic violence and social discrimination.
