A cozy mountain retreat just outside Brussels
Following a successful first season, the Chalet (Off) returns for a new winter season, from November 19, 2026, to February 14, 2027. Located within the (Off) community space in Wavre, this 200-square-meter pop-up restaurant aims to recreate the atmosphere of the chalets in Courchevel and Méribel, without requiring Brussels residents to head to the Alps.
Wood paneling, soft lighting, touches of fur, and a cozy atmosphere… The decor evokes the spirit of a mountain retreat, the kind of place where you’re happy to linger over dinner. The restaurant serves Savoyard cuisine Thursday through Saturday evenings, by reservation only. A little winter getaway just twenty minutes from the capital.
All-you-can-eat raclette and cheese in all its forms
On the menu, the offerings are sure to delight fans of mountain specialties! The gourmet set menu at €42 per person (excluding drinks) lets you sample several classics. Think traditional tartiflette with Reblochon and Vacherin Mont d’Or cheeses, topped with wild mushrooms. But also Valais cheese fondue and Savoyard crozets served directly in a cheese wheel.
But the star of the show is undoubtedly the all-you-can-eat raclette! It’s served with steamed potatoes and a selection of mountain charcuterie: cured ham, Bündnerfleisch, coppa, or bresaola. A salad with goat cheese, roasted hazelnuts, and mountain honey rounds out the menu for those looking to mix things up a bit.

Le Chalet (Off) isn’t just for small dinner parties. The venue can also be reserved for private events such as birthdays, get-togethers with friends, corporate dinners, or holiday parties. With its indoor space and terrace, it’s the perfect setting for custom-designed events in a setting that offers a refreshing change from the usual reception halls.
