The Fiesta Latina festival
Every year, it’s a real success. The Fiesta Latina festival returns on September 6 and 7, with a new edition that’s more caliente than ever. On the program: Latin dance classes, lucha libre demonstrations, DJ sets, stands (bars and food trucks) featuring Latin American specialties for a complete immersion experience. It’s all happening at the Bois de la Cambre, and we highly recommend it if you want to get away from it all without leaving the capital.
Taste the world’s best craft beers at the BXL Beer Fest!
The BXLBeerFest has international ambitions, attracting breweries and beer lovers from the four corners of the globe. Some thirty independent breweries from Belgium and abroad will be showcasing quality craft beers, a far cry from industrial production. The event will focus on conviviality, with meticulous service, and will highlight gastronomy by combining beers and refined cuisine, thanks to recipes developed by top chefs.
Bubble Planet at Tour & Taxis
With its various themed rooms, virtual reality experience and fantastic landscapes, the immersive Bubble Planet experience at Tour & Taxis lets you escape, fall back into childhood and add a little color to your back-to-school experience. With friends or family, it’s the perfect activity to prolong the vacation spirit.
Discover places closed to the public during the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days)
On Friday September 14 and Saturday September 15, some of Brussels’ fabulous hidden spots will be open to the public as part of the Journées du Patrimoine. We don’t yet know the list of places to discover and activities on offer, but we do know that the program will be entirely free of charge. The theme of the 2024 event is New Heritage.

The “J’peux pas, j’ai Cinéma!“ festival returns to Brussels and Wallonia in September . Over 20,000 tickets for just €1 are on offer in 34 cinemas and cultural centers in the capital and Walloon region. It’s time to make a splash! The gourmet Eat Festival
This September, don’t miss the Eat Festival in Brussels, to be held from 26 to 29 at the Tour & Taxis Maritime Station. For its 13th edition, the festival offers a renewed concept with gastronomic 3- and 5-course menus prepared by renowned chefs, pastry chefs and cheesemongers. In addition to the meals, visitors can take part in workshops, tastings, culinary demonstrations and discover a market of local producers. The festival, in partnership with BXLBeerFest and Bordeaux Wines, showcases Brussels gastronomy while reinforcing its ecological commitment with washable tableware.
MOIR: The museum of infinite realities
Are traditional museums not for you? If you’re looking for a truly different museum experience, we recommend you try the Museum of Infinite Realities (MOIR). Designed as a unique immersive experience, the MOIR is made up of 7 rooms where you can take part in interactive activities around the “Explore The True You” thematic trail, the last of which is none other than an absolutely mind-blowing holographic show. This September, don’t miss the Drag Race Belgium season 2 live show at the Cirque Royal in Brussels, on September 6, 2024. Rita Baga and the season 2 queens, including winner Alvida, will perform in a glittering show. Fans will be able to relive the atmosphere of the show with styling, comedy and lipsync performances by the nine artists who made their mark on the edition. Get ready for a memorable evening of glitter, laughter and emotion with the flamboyant outfits and razor-sharp humor of the drag queens.
Harry Potter multimedia exhibition at Tour & Taxis in Brussels
In September, don’t miss“Harry Potter: Visions of Magic” at Tour & Taxis Brussels. This interactive exhibition uses cutting-edge technology to recreate iconic locations from the Harry Potter saga. Visitors can explore the Room on Demand, Norbert Dragonneau’s Menagerie, and the Ministry of Magic through multi-sensory installations and immersive video content. Brussels Design September
Brussels Design September is a festival dedicated to design. It brings together almost 100 varied events, including exhibitions, conferences and debates on furniture, objects, industrial products, architecture and graphic design. For its 18th edition, the event focuses on the theme “ART + DESIGN”. This theme highlights the intersection between art and design in Belgium, with a focus on the unique creations of Belgian designers. This edition also explores emerging trends and contemporary challenges in design. For example, highlighting its role in the convergence of aesthetics and functionality for a better world.

Brussels Food Festival returns for food lovers
The Brussels Food Festival is back on the Boulevard du Souverain from September 13 to 15, 2024. It’s time for an avalanche of delicious flavors! The festival, which describes itself as “the biggest kitchen in Brussels”, will feature no fewer than 30 stands offering a wide variety of flavors for everyone, to be shared over 3,000 m2 in the sunshine.
Elliott Erwitt retrospective
It’s time to get back into the local cultural scene. After attracting 300,000 visitors between Paris and Lyon, a brand-new exhibition dedicated to Elliott Erwitt takes up residence in Brussels. At number 5, Grand Place, visitors are invited to plunge into the world of one of the most eminent photographers of the 20th century, through over 200 iconic photographs, sometimes moving, sometimes funny, presented under a new prism.
Take part in the FAME Festival, a free event
In September, don’t miss the FAME Festival in Brussels, which runs from September 20 to 28. This festival highlights the artistic work of women and gender minorities, in dialogue with feminist, queer and decolonial struggles. On the program: theater, dance, concerts, lectures, discussions, workshops, walks, films and parties. Admission to discussions, workshops and concerts is free upon reservation, while shows are free of charge.
The immersive Klimt experience in Antwerp
Why not take the opportunity to get away for a while? Just 1 hour from Brussels, Klimt: The Immersive Experience has brought its most iconic paintings to Antwerp in a digitalized version, immersing you in the glamorous Vienna of the 1900s. The program includes floor-to-ceiling digital projections, virtual reality and a customized soundscape. The exhibition brings masterpieces such as The Kiss, The Tree of Life and Judith and Holofernes to life. September 14 marks the 7th edition of the Vegan Brussels Festival! It’s a not-to-be-missed event for vegans and food lovers alike. The event features a wide range of tasty plant-based dishes, as well as cruelty-free cosmetics, sustainable fashion and many other innovations.
