If Sunday is the day of rest for some, for us it’s the day of brunch! And because the Belgian capital has so many gourmet addresses to offer, we’ve put together a selection of our seven favorite brunches!
1. La fabrique en ville: 100% homemade brunch
Great service, tasty food, affordable prices, warm atmosphere and homemade dishes! We loved the brunch at La fabrique en ville. Cinnamon rolls, blueberry pancakes, caramelized pears and walnuts, avocado toast or banana bread… the products are fresh and full of flavor! And a big bonus for their soothing decor.

2. Le Poz”: pancake heaven
It doesn’t matter whether you prefer sweet or savoury at Le Poz”! Absolutely everything is delicious. In a relaxed, tropical atmosphere, Poz” is also the perfect place to relax. Be sure to try their speciality pancakes (sweet and savoury) or one of their succulent “toasty” pastries. The burrata one is divine. Please note, they don’t take reservations!

3. Woodpecker Family: English-style brunch or with waffles
We love to fill our bellies, but not just on Sundays! And the Woodpecker brunch is available all week long! With several locations in Brussels, this brunch offers a choice of English-style formulas (poached eggs, avocado toast…) or savory waffles (chorizo, cheddar, truffle cream). You’ll also be seduced by their seasonal creations: limited-edition waffles and pancakes!

4. Café de la Presse: two brunches to suit all tastes
Why settle for one brunch when you can choose from three? With “Presse“, expect the essentials: pastries, ham, cheese, scrambledeggs and toast. The Booster option offers beet yoghurt with granola/fruit salad, avocado toast and scrambled eggs. Brunch is also available all day. Yummy!

5. Kosto: brunch overlooking the canal
At Kosto, you’ll find brunch staples like avocado toast, as well as delicious homemade granola. Keep an eye on their menu, which changes with the seasons. For sweet tooths, a selection of croissants, cinnamon rolls and cakes are available. And all in this superb canal-side cafĂ©!
