If you’re 18, or about to turn 18 in 2025, the European Union is offering you the chance to travel the continent by train for a whole month! How can you do it? Thanks to the DiscoverEU program, which offers 900 young Beñges the chance to receive a free train ticket to explore Europe for 30 days.

How to apply for the Discover EU program and are you eligible? To be able to travel Europe free of charge, participants must have been born between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007 (inclusive), and fill in the application form with their identity card, passport or residence permit number. They must reside in one of the member states of the European Union, including the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs), or in one of the non-EU countries associated with the Erasmus+ program (such as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Northern Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Turkey).
Please note: registration is open until midday on April 16! Applicants will have to answer a quiz to be eligible for the offer. Interrail tickets will be awarded to those who answer correctly.
A month’s travel and discounts galore with DiscoverEU
Selected participants will have the opportunity to travel for a period of 1 to 30 days between July 1, 2025 and September 30, 2026. They’ll also receive a DiscoverEU European Youth Card, offering discounts on cultural visits, sporting activities, local transport, accommodation and catering during their trip… Ready to try your luck?
Good to know: Assistance will be provided for people with disabilities. Residents of overseas territories or islands who have to fly to begin their experience will also receive support.
