This is an event not to be missed this October! On Sunday, October 19, 2025, Belgium will host the second edition of a unique event: the DachshundFest. From 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the festival will take place at the Hazegras farm in Knokke-Heist, just 1h20 from Brussels. A day full of activities awaits dachshunds, their owners and all those who love this adorable breed.
Teckelfest: a whole day dedicated to Dachshunds and their masters and mistresses
As in its inaugural year, Teckelfest offers a festive and original program. One of the highlights will be the famous dachshund race. At around 4 p.m., dogs dressed as hot dogs will compete to reach the finish line. A collar-free play area, equipped with a variety of obstacles, will allow the dachshunds to enjoy themselves in complete freedom.
New this year: dachshund yoga. You and your pooch can enjoy a 40-minute session together. Perfect your “downward dog” posture and feel perfectly stretched!

- Dachshund market: discover the latest creations from the hottest brands for your dog! All the designers present at TeckelFest can be found on the festival’s Instagram account.
- Dog café: you and your four-legged friend can indulge in tasty snacks and cocktails. And, of course, there will be hot dogs to sample!
