Just a few more days to go before Boulevard du Midi regains its most festive atmosphere of the year. Starting July 18, the famous Foire du Midi will make its grand return! Expect 130 rides, dozens of food stands, and, this year, two new attractions that promise to make hearts beat a little faster.
Two new attractions that will get your adrenaline pumping
The 2026 edition will feature two new rides designed for thrill-seekers. The first, Mission Impossible, is an impressive 80-meter free-fall tower . After an ascent offering a panoramic view of Brussels, the seats swivel before a dizzying descent that promises to be unforgettable.
Another highly anticipated new addition: Hurricane. Here, the gondolas spin around their own axes while the entire structure swings and accelerates at breakneck speed. With its combination of spins, swings, and speed, this ride is sure to quickly become one of the summer’s must-try attractions for those who love pushing their limits.
A must-see outing for the whole family
In addition to these new additions, 130 attractions will line Boulevard du Midi from July 18 to August 23. A Ferris wheel, bumper cars, family-friendly rides, games of skill, shooting galleries, and children’s rides will all be on hand. Not to mention the culinary delights that have also made the event famous… Croustillons, churros, cotton candy, french fries, and many other specialties.
Visitors can enjoy this big summer festival every day from 2 p.m. to midnight (11:30 a.m. for food stands). The fair closes at 1 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and the days before holidays. A great excuse to extend those Brussels summer evenings. We can’t wait to be there!
