What if pizza – that typically Italian creation – could have flavours that were purely home-grown? In the heart of Brussels, in the historic district of the Vieux Marché aux Grains, Otomat has brilliantly appropriated this culinary monument from Italy. The five passionate partners who founded the brand have come up with a Belgian pizza that’s both gourmet and convivial. On your plates, pizzas with Duvel yeast dough and toppings in typical Belgian flavors. For a change from the ever-popular margherita, we invite you to discover Otomat.
Otomat: a taste for sharing and beer dough
The key word here is sharing. The pizza is not eaten solo, but cut into equal slices and shared to be enjoyed by several people. The light, crispy dough reveals a very Belgian secret: Duvel beer yeast. Indeed, it’s this surprising touch that gives Otomat its unique character. The menu is divided into two main families: Otomat pizzas with a light tomato sauce, and Notomat pizzas topped with a creamy white sauce. So there’s something for everyone!
Belgian flavors and surprises

The toppings are unlike any traditional Italian pizza. Here, the ingredients pay homage to Belgian classics. On the menu, a pizza revisited in a vol-au-vent style, or a surprise with the famous chicory au gratin… To accompany these creations, say goodbye to the traditional wine and let yourself be tempted by a local beer skilfully chosen to sublimate the flavours. We call this “beer pairing”. An address for all those who like to eat from the heart, share without fuss, and have fun with culinary boundaries.
