Noé Pellet ‘s sudden retirement came as a surprise to all Top Chef fans – such is the rarity of this decision. As reported in other media, the only Belgian candidate will not be taking part in the rest of season 16 due to “personal concerns”. If we can no longer follow his progress in Stéphanie Le Quellec’s brigade, we can console ourselves with the knowledge that we can eat in Noé’s restaurant. Located just over 1 hour from Brussels, we tell you more about this good address that’s well worth the trip.
Vorace, Noé’s restaurant not far from Brussels
On the RTL-TVI TV show Top Chef, former contestant Noé Pellet described his cuisine in three words: “terroir, fun and quirky”. In fact, he seduced chef Stéphanie Le Quellec with his revisit of potato chicken during the selection round. The recipe was just like him: simple and generous.
As we read on the show’s Instagram account, “in the kitchen, he particularly likes to sublimate long cooking times and grandma’s dishes with a modern, fun touch”.
The cuisine that defines him can be found in Noé’s restaurant in Gesves. Called Vorace, the address offers “a table where the food is sincere, where we work with raw products without fuss but with respect”.
To give you a taste of what you can expect, here’s a quick overview of the menu. Starter: farm egg / truffle 5gr / bintje (21€). Main course: celeriac / Pommery mustard / pistachio (19€). Dessert: all chocolate (12€). Obviously, a menu like this is a hit! Noé’s restaurant is fully booked until the end of June 2025. So hurry up and book a table!
