In Brussels, some know that summer truly begins when the heights of Bozar come back to life. Starting next week, the Rooftop Bozar returns to transform our evenings! Expect gatherings suspended between music, sunsets, and shared drinks. All this, with a lineup that promises to be one of the most vibrant of the season.
A rooftop designed as an urban retreat
Perched atop the Palais des Beaux-Arts, the venue run by pali pali is getting a fresh makeover for the summer of 2026. This year, the design by Bento Architecture immerses visitors in “L’Heure Bleue.” Yes, we’re talking about that hazy moment when the day slowly fades away without night having fully taken its place yet. The result? An immersive setting featuring soft lighting, airy materials, and a large central dance floor that promises to quickly become the go-to spot for Brussels nights. Open from June 4 to September 20, Tuesday through Sunday, the rooftop aims above all to remain accessible.Admission is free, and the atmosphere is laid-back—a far cry from overly exclusive terraces.
An opening that sets the tone for the summer
The lineup for the firstfew days sets the tone rightaway. CASA VILLANI will kick things off with a house and techno night. Then, it’ll be Private Feels’ turn to take the reins with a more R&B vibe. The weekend is shaping up to be especially packed! First up are W3 and FEMMEBASS, followed by Rise & Shine, which will wrap up this first week with a mix of jazz, hip-hop, and live music. Throughout the summer, a dozen Belgian collectives will bring the venue to life with DJ sets, concerts, markets, performances, and hybrid events blending culture and celebration.
Brussels at sunset
What makes the Rooftop Bozar so charming isalso that very Brussels-style way of mixing crowds and styles without ever taking itself too seriously. People come here just as much to listen to a disco set as to drink a craft beer from the Brussels Beer Project while looking out over the capital’s rooftops. It’s enough to add a real vacation vibe to Brussels evenings, without having to leave the city center.
