Brussels, hang on, a new ephemeral bar is about to shake up the capital! Schnock is the place to come for a drink, dance and snack in an electric atmosphere. Open for three months only, from Friday March 21, this spot promises unforgettable Friday evenings, before transforming into a food market in September.
A festive concept in the heart of Brussels
Located a stone’s throw from the Parc Royal and Arts-Loi, Schnock is the new must for Brussels night owls. This ephemeral bar combines everything we love… Well-balanced cocktails, tasty tapas and a dancefloor that gets hotter as the evening goes on. Forget the usual bar routine! Here, the music takes you on board from the very first note, and the supercharged atmosphere promises memorable nights.
From 6pm, Schnock plays the afterwork card. You’ll find a selection of cocktails and beers accompanied by burgers, fries, croquettes and other gourmet snacks. But as the night progresses, the atmosphere changes: the lights go down, the volume goes up and the space becomes a real dance bar where DJ sets keep the crowd vibrating until 2.30am.
An ephemeral spot… before becoming a food market!
Schnock will provide three months of non-stop partying, but the story doesn ‘t end there. Starting in September, the place will trade in its club atmosphere for a brand new concept: a street food market where you can enjoy specialities from all over the world, at lunchtime and in the evening. It’s an ambitious dual project spearheaded by Charlie de Launoit and Thomas Mertens, two enthusiasts who know the Brussels party scene inside out.
But where does the name “Schnock” come from? In fact, it was chosen because it evokes both a nod to the Brusseleir language and a touch of musical nostalgia. Here, we dance to revisited classics, between electro nuggets and timeless hits. A place where every evening is different, with live concerts, DJ sets and a varied program to surprise on every visit.
See you there on Friday?
