A floral family getaway at Château de Grand-Bigard
For the Easter vacations, plunge into an enchanting world at the heart of the Floralia Brussels festival, located just 10 km from Brussels. Among 400 varieties of tulips, narcissi and hyacinths, the gardens of the Château de Grand-Bigard offer a magical stroll through over a million carefully planted flowers. Children will be delighted to take part in Maya Days, a fun-filled day of activities, games and a meeting with Maya the Bee.

Underground treasure hunt at the Palais de Coudenberg
Children aged 5 to 8 – accompanied by an adult – can play budding explorer at the Palais du Coudenberg. During the school vacations, your little ones can get away from it all with an underground treasure hunt. How does it work? Each child receives a backpack containing materials for carrying out missions to help little Charles Quint. These include a treasure map, a disguise, a puzzle and a flashlight. Each successful mission provides a clue to the password for opening a treasure chest containing the famous Golden Fleece necklace! For other family activities in Brussels, click here.

Belgian painter René Magritte, undisputed master of surrealism, is the focus of an immersive exhibition at Galerie Horta. And to the delight of budding artists, you can even take part in Easter-themed creative workshops to learn how to paint your own chocolate egg to take home as a souvenir. All you have to do is add a supplement to your ticket for the visit, from April 14 to 21 in the morning.
