Every summer, this is an event that many Belgian families eagerly await. This season, the Durbuy Maze returns with an entirely new storyline that propels visitors… into space! It’s the perfect excuse to treat yourself to a getaway less than two hours from Brussels.
A space mission in the heart of a cornfield
Set on an impressive 11-hectare site, the Labyrinth is ditching fairy tales and pirates this year in favor of a futuristic adventure inspired by the world of Interstellar Ella. As soon as they enter, participants are invited to join a rescue mission following the crash of a spaceship right in the middle of the cornstalks. As they wind their way along the paths, visitors of all ages encounter actors, robots, futuristic sets, and several interactive shows. The experience combines exploration, fun challenges, and discoveries about space, with a route designed to entertain all generations. A flight simulator even lets you end the adventure in the shoes of an astronaut. The Maze is open from July 4 to October 4, 2026.
When night falls, it’s time for puzzles
Once the sun sets, the atmosphere changes completely. The site now offers a giant outdoor escape game where participants navigate the maze without a map. The goal ? To solve a mystery by collecting clues and information along the way. Designed primarily for teenagers, adults, and groups of friends, this nighttime adventure focuses on suspense, observation, and teamwork. To round out the day, a restaurant—accessible even without an admission ticket —offers a gourmet break before or after your exploration. Combining nature, entertainment, and immersion, the Durbuy Labyrinth once again confirms its status as a must-see Belgian summer destination.
