The 50 Top Pizza guide has just unveiled its 2026 European rankings, and one thing is certain: Brussels continues to make a name for itself among lovers of perfectly leavened dough. Three establishments in the capital are among the 60 best pizzerias in Europe this year— a great recognition for the Brussels pizza scene.
Three Brussels restaurants that are among the best
Belgium’s top representative is La Piola Pizza, which has climbed to 15th place in the rankings. Located in Saint-Josse and also in the city center, the restaurant reaffirms its status as a benchmark. The inspectors praise its faithful interpretation of the Neapolitan tradition, featuring ingredients imported from Italy, a light and airy crust cooked to perfection, and recipes that are as classic as they are creative. Among the must-try options, the Provola e Pepe delights with its balance of smoked cheese and pepper, while the Zucca e Salsiccia perfectly pairs pumpkin and sausage.
Brussels even scores a nice hat trick, as La Pizza è Bella ranks 29th. Located in the heart of the Sablon, this recently renovated institution charms diners with a generous menu, thin crust in the purest Neapolitan style, and a very impressive five-cheese pizza. Finally, ‘naPizzà takes 59th place thanks to its generous pizzas, warm hospitality, and cuisine faithful to the flavors of Naples, with a special mention for the Cacio e Pepe.
London leads the way, while Brussels confirms its status
This year, first place goes to Napoli on the Road in London, ahead of Baldoria in Madrid and Imperfetto, near Paris. But beyond the top three, Belgium has reason to celebrate: seeing three Brussels spots featured in such a closely scrutinized ranking confirms that the capital has become a must-visit destination for lovers of authentic Neapolitan pizza. An excellent excuse to plan your next pizza tour… without leaving Brussels.
