Every summer, certain places seem to suddenly come back to life. In Brussels, that’s exactly what’s happening with the return of Vaux Hall Summer, the outdoor cultural event that transforms a little-known corner of Brussels Park into a true summer hub. Concerts, screenings, performances, and a lively open-air atmosphere… The venue promises once again to be one of the coolest spots of the season.
A historic venue reborn for the summer
Hidden behind the paths of Brussels Park lies a place steeped in history. A former 18th-century entertainment venue, the Vaux Hall has, in recent years, regained its festive and cultural purpose following a major restoration. And for this 10th summer edition, the site is back in action. The new program is open to all and designed as a welcoming escape right in the city center. The charm of the place is immediately apparent! Historic architecture, greenery, summer lights, and a relaxed atmosphere make you feel like you’re somewhere else entirely.
Movies, concerts, and performances until nightfall
From June 17 to July 19, 2026, events will take place almost every day. On the program? Live concerts, DJ sets, dance performances, contemporary circus, workshops, and open-air film screenings organized with Cinéma Galeries. Among the events already announced are the “Musique d’Ascenseur” evenings, performances by the Tashattot collective, and several screenings under the stars. The Fête de la Musique will also be one of the highlights of this particularly eclectic edition.
The new free hub for Brussels nightlife?
Vaux Hall Summer also has that touch of unpredictability that makes for the best summer plans. You might stop by initially for a screening or a concert, but you’ll end up staying for the atmosphere, the people, and the energy of the place as night falls. Between the tables set up on the terrace, the sounds echoing through the park, and the ever-changing lineup of events, the site is fully reclaiming its identity as a gathering place. Set right in the heart of the park, it’s sure to quickly become one of Brussels residents’ favorite spots this summer.
