Ah, that good old kebab: we love it, whether it’s in the evening outside a bar, on a summer terrace, or even on the go between work hours. Because we’re gourmets at Bruxelles Secrète, we’ve decided to share with you our six favorite kebabs in the Belgian capital, from the most chic to the most economical, not to mention the most gourmet. Bon appétit!
Panam: the gourmet kebab
Since its opening in 2023, Panam has been a must for all kebab lovers in Brussels. Here, you’ll find German-inspired kebabs (Berliner Kebabs) of undeniable quality. With gourmet bread from Renard Bakery (the delicious bakery on Place Fernand Cocq), deliciously grilled meat and crunchy crudités, this Ixelles address is one of our favorites. And what’s more, the prices are very affordable!
📍Location: Pl. Fernand Cocq 14, 1050 Ixelles
Le perroquet: the chic kebab
Who says a kebab can’t be light? Here, the “chic” side given to kebabs gives it all its added value! And with good reason: you’ll find a wide choice of kebabs, as well as a delicious low-calorie pita, so you can avoid guilt and, above all, indulge yourself.
📍 Location: Le Perroquet, Rue Watteeu 31, 1000 Brussels
Le Doux Délire: the atypical kebab
The kebab at Le Doux Délire is an atypical kebab: its extremely varied choice of pitas (with grilled meats, merguez, chicken, vegetarian…) will make your mouth water just by looking at the menu! And if you’re not convinced, compose your own pita with five ingredients!
📍Location: Avenue de Woluwé-Saint-Lambert 38/40, 1200 Woluwe-Saint-Lambert
Snack de Wand: the hearty kebab
Want to get your money’s worth? Then Snack De Wand, with its rich, tasty plates, could well become your new favorite address. Pitas (with a choice for vegetarians), kapsalons, brochettes, durum, kefta, kebabs and burgers… you’re sure to leave with a full belly! A stroll in the nearby Parc de Laeken would be a good way to digest…
📍Location: Rue de Wand 20, 1020 Brussels
L’Express: the central kebab
The advantage of this restaurant? Its location: right next to the Grand-Place, it’s the ideal spot to unwind after a grueling day’s shopping. Don’t be fooled: its Lebanese-flavored food is just as gourmet! Try its falafels and mixed chawarma (beef and chicken): a real delight!
📍Location: Rue des Chapeliers 8, 1000 Brussels
Oune: the healthy kebab
Oune, located on Brussels’ Place de Londres, revisits the kebab with a healthy, Mediterranean approach. In an uncluttered setting, you’ll enjoy homemade kebabs made with fresh ingredients, either in a soft pita bread or on a plate. Falafel, spicy meats and hummus are all on the menu for a light, gourmet break.
📍Location: Place de Londres 8, 1050 Ixelles
