Downton Abbey fans, get out your best hats! The cult saga returns to the big screen in several Belgian Kinepolis. After shining on TV and in the cinema, we’re finally back in the chic, hushed world of the Crawleys. Like you, we can’t wait to see Hugh Bonneville and Michelle Dockery on the big screen. On the program: the screening of the ultimate film… preceded by a refined high tea. Drinks, snacks and English ambience guaranteed.
Downton Abbey: a phenomenon that has conquered the world
Since 2010, Downton Abbey has charmed the world. Six seasons of family secrets, unlikely alliances and drama served up in silver spoons. Here, every dinner is an event. Every cup of tea conceals a potential scandal.
In 15 years, the series has raked in a string of awards: Emmy Awards, Golden Globes, BAFTAs… and even a Guinness World Record in 2011 for being the most critically acclaimed English-language series.
The Crawleys and their staff didn’t stop at the small screen. In 2019, the first film seduced fans. Three years later, A New Era confirmed the magic. But every story has an end: the third film will indeed mark the end of the British saga.

Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale – between mystery and emotion
In this final chapter, we return to the Crawley family and their loyal staff at the dawn of the 1930s, a time when the perfume of change wafts through the hushed halls of Downton Abbey. As public scandal engulfs Lady Mary and family finances weaken, the threat of social disgrace looms over the estate. To preserve their heritage, the Crawleys must adapt to this breath of modernity.

An experience worthy of English high society
It’s tea time! To honor this ultimate denouement, Kinepolis Belgium invites you to a high tea worthy of Lady Grantham’s salon. On the program: a selection of delicious “so chic” triangular sandwiches, sweet treats as refined as a Crawley dinner, scented tea served with care… and even a glass of cava to toast British elegance. Raising a finger is not compulsory, but highly recommended for the atmosphere.
Practical info: times, prices and a little surprise
To experience this so-British interlude, you’ll need to push open the door of a participating Kinepolis: Antwerp, Braine (the nearest for Brussels residents), Bruges, Ghent or Liège. The event takes place on September 19. Your ticket (59.95 euros) includes the film screening and high tea. And the icing on the cottage cheese: each guest will even leave with a little goodie, to take home as a souvenir.

High Tea starts at 2:30 p.m., entry to the theater at 3:30 p.m., film starts at 3:45 p.m. and final curtain at 5:45 p.m. But be warned: as at Lady Grantham’s table, seating is limited on the Kinepolis website, so hurry if you want to be saved a chair in the grand salon.
This isn’t the first time Kinepolis has organized this kind of event. On Saturday August 30 and Sunday August 31, 2025, Harry Potter fans will be honored with a 24-hour marathon screening of all 8 parts of the saga.
