Hide & Seek Festival: world music concerts in atypical venues
The Hide & Seek Festival 2025 program is particularly rich and varied: it features Arabo-Galician music with Alfaia, Flemish polyphonic folk with Eastern influences with Toasaves, and a virtuoso string duo with Lotte Remmen and Toby Kuhn from Bipolar Bows. Families can enjoy a musical and clowning show by Ghanaian group ADESA, combining fables, acrobatics and humor. Then there’s the Christine Zayed Trio (Palestine/FR), exploring themes of displacement, identity and resilience.

But the Hide & Seek Festival isn’t just about eclectic programming. As its name suggests (Hide & Seek means “hide and seek” in English), the festival takes place in unusual venues, often unknown to the general public. For this ninth edition, you can attend concerts in such fascinating places as the Council of State, Stassart House and Prague House. Other unexpected concert venues include a museum, a bicycle repair shop and an art gallery. In addition to live music, the festival also offers guided tours of these unusual venues. So you can kill two birds with one stone.
