Bright Brussels Festival: the world’s largest intramural light festival
Luminous halos, giant flowers, a river of lights… Every year, the traditional Bright Brussels light festival adorns our streets with a thousand lights. Good news: it’s back for a 10th edition in 2026, with no less than twenty installations, night tours and exclusive guided tours. There will even be a new gastronomic corner featuring local producers and well-known Belgian chefs. The festival of light, arguably Belgium’s best-known, has pulled out all the stops for this anniversary edition… Be patient, it takes place from February 12 to 15, 2026, and the good news is: it’s totally free.

Winter glow in Bruges
From November 21, 2025 to January 4, 2026, follow the immersive light trail and discover Bruges as you’ve never seen it before. Already in its 7th year, Lueur d’hiver brings the city to life. On this year’s program: a new 3.5 km light walk,“Machina Lumina“, with ten light installations, linked by a blue light, each taking you into a different world. Another not-to-be-missed feature of this luminous festival: an ice rink.

The free Mons en Lumières festival: Wallonia’s biggest Festival of Lights
Prepare to be dazzled by the Mons en Lumières festival, a magical spectacle just an hour from Brussels! From January 22 to 25, 2026, the historic center of Mons will be decked out with 19 breathtaking light installations on the poetic theme “Between Earth and Sky”. New this year: Mons en Lumières is exported to SPARKOH! from February 12 to 14, 2026. Completely free of charge and accessible to all, this 3 km route promises a magical experience where art, architecture and light combine to sublimate the city.
