After a few weeks of summer break, Mina is firing up its stoves again near Place Fernand Cocq. A few months after its opening, the Italian restaurant-bar conceived by Daniel Moriamé is back for a new season with a menu that evolves with the seasonal ingredients… And a new dish that could very well become its signature dish: linguine scoglio.
A spot perfect for the whole evening
Located on Place Fernand Cocq, Mina functions as much as a restaurant as it does a bar. You can sit down for dinner, order a few dishes to share, or simply kick off the evening with a cocktail. The space has been designed to accommodate these different moments… High tables and a bar in the front, with a more dinner-friendly atmosphere in the back.
As for the decor, forget the traditional red-checkered trattoria: Mina instead features warm tones, soft lighting, a few pops of color, and a contemporary interior.
Linguine scoglio is now on the menu

The highlight of this fall’s new offerings is on the plate. Linguine scoglio has been added to the menu, featuring a generous portion of seafood, seasoned with parsley and garlic. This new addition complements the restaurant’s other fresh pasta dishes, including paccheri al ragù and rigatoni cacio e pepe.
Fans of Italian cuisine will also find artichokes alla giudia, tagliata di manzo, Milanese-style veal cutlet, and Mediterranean-style semi-cured bluefin tuna. And to end on a sweet note, Mina offers tiramisu, zabaione, and affogato, among other desserts .
From cocktails to Italian wines
It’s impossible to talk about Mina without mentioning what’s in the glasses. The cocktails are crafted in collaboration with Samuel Suarez, who has 15 years of experience behind the bar at the Belga Queen, while the wine list gives pride of place to Italian selections.
With this new season, Mina intends to continue its concept as a lively restaurant-bar on Place Fernand Cocq, with a menu that should continue to evolve according to fresh ingredients and the seasons.
