The Moustache Saga: From the ramparts of Saint-Malo to national success
The story of Moustache has its roots in Saint-Malo, where the “ ice cream wizard ” Gérard Sanchez laid the foundation for exceptional craftsmanship as early as the 1990s. In 2014, inspired by this passion for artisanal craftsmanship, Sylvie Bondil took up the torch and founded the Moustache brand. Together, they forged a unique identity based on a fundamental principle: 100% homemade. In their Breton workshop, the milk comes from nearby farms, and every ingredient is prepared from start to finish by their pastry chefs.
This quest for excellence and pure flavor quickly bore fruit. Having won numerous awards, the brand saw its Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla ranked among the best in France by Gault & Millau, while creations like Banoffee and Paris-Brest were praised by the newspaper Le Monde.
