A corner of the Alps at the top of the Grand-Place? Well, almost! La Chaloupe d’Or recently unveiled its Secret Chalet, nestled atop one of the Grand-Place’ s emblematic buildings. For a limited time only, this warm and exclusive space promises a mountain experience right in the heart of our capital! Bruxelles Secrète reveals everything, from its secret room to its delicious gourmet formulas.
An alpine refuge at the top of the city!
Imagine leaving the hustle and bustle of Brussels for a moment to plunge into the cosy atmosphere of an alpine chalet, with the gilded Grand-Place as your backdrop… This is exactly what the Secret Chalet offers, on the third floor of La Chaloupe d’Or. Here, the warm, woody decor, inspired by Swiss refuges, blends perfectly with the breathtaking view of one of Brussels’ architectural gems. An exclusive experience that’s not just for the eyes, but also for the taste buds.
What’s on the table at Secret Chalet? As you may have guessed, it’s Swiss cheeses that take center stage in gourmet and refined formulas. From traditional raclette to intensely flavored fondues, such as morel or black truffle, everything is on offer to delight lovers of mountain dishes. Each meal is also accompanied by carefully selected ingredients: fine charcuterie, tasty vegetables and pommes grenaille, perfect for sublimating PDO cheeses. For those with a sweet tooth, specially designed desserts and beverages extend this gourmet pause.
Please note, however, that the Secret Chalet is only open to small groups, making each visit even more special. Available by reservation for groups of 8 to 20 people, this retreat is ideal for family and friends. And if you’re less numerous? Privatization is still possible with a dedicated package, guaranteeing a warm, intimate atmosphere. With two services every evening, this haven at the summit of Brussels is the address not to be missed this winter.
