No need to cross the Atlantic to play cowboys for a day. Near Chaudfontaine, close to Liège, a unique venue inspired by the Wild West is set to reopen after several months of renovation. It’s called Western City, and clearly, the experience promises to be much more than just a family outing.
A life-size Western setting

At Western City, everything is designed to make you feel like you’re stepping into a real small town of the Wild West. Upon arrival, visitors can wander among the wooden facades, step inside the saloon, or set off in search of clues scattered throughout the park. The site focuses primarily on immersion and group play. Children can freely explore the different areas. Adults, meanwhile, will rediscover the joy of life-size activities! Between challenges, exploration, and moments to share as a group. Think rifle shooting, hobby horsing…
Much more than just an amusement park
The reopening also marks a new phase for the project, which is developing a strong social and local dimension. Behind the Western theme lies an initiative focused on training and professional reintegration, with activities related to hospitality, entertainment, and food service. The venue aims to blend tourism, entertainment, and local impact. This approach gives it an identity quite different from that of traditional theme parks.
Sleep in the atmosphere of the Wild West

The experience doesn’t stop at the entertainment. On site, a restaurant inspired by American saloons will offer casual dining that also highlights local products. And for those who’d like to extend the escape, several themed rooms will even let you spend the night in this Western atmosphere. Good news for Brussels residents: it takes about an hour and 15 minutes by car to reach this setting straight out of a cowboy movie. A perfect idea for a unique getaway without leaving Belgium.
