Half waffle, half croque-monsieur, this creation—crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth on the inside—has everything it takes to be the star of your pre-game party while watching the Red Devils. Bonus: it takes less than ten minutes to make and requires almost no dishes.
Why is everyone going crazy for the croque-gaufre?
The concept is as simple as it is clever: you pop a puff pastry filled with ham and cheese right into a waffle maker. In just a few minutes, you get a golden, crispy shell that encloses a deliciously gooey center. Easy to eat with one hand, it’s the perfect snack for keeping your eyes glued to the screen during the decisive moments of the game.
For a truly local twist, go with Ardennes ham, grated Vieux Bruges cheese, or a few slices of Orval for an even more indulgent touch.
