In Brussels, bubbles don’t come only from champagne. From August 28 to 30, 2026, the Vaux Hall will host the fifth edition of POMPOMPOM, Belgium’s premier event dedicated to craft cider. More than just a tasting festival, the event has established itself as a true cultural celebration. Gastronomy, music, and socializing come together in an exceptional setting.
European producers and vintages that break the mold
For three days, the Vaux Hall will bring together a selection of Belgian and international cider producers. Nearly 18 producers will be present each day to share their creations and tell the story of their orchards. Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, or Germany… Each booth will offer the chance to discover different approaches, ranging from natural fermentation to extended aging and surprising blends.
Strawberry-apple, quince-apple, hop-apple… The new generation of producers no longer hesitates to experiment, much like natural winemakers or craft brewers. The result: gourmet ciders that are bold and perfectly in tune with the times.
A weekend of feasting, concerts, and a festive atmosphere
To celebrate its fifth anniversary, POMPOMPOM will kick off the festivities on Friday evening with a grand banquet (reservation required). The entire event has been designed in collaboration with a Belgian chef, featuring food and cider pairings. On Saturday and Sunday, the program takes a more festive turn with live concerts and DJ sets, gradually transforming the Parc Royal into a lush green dance floor.
With free admission, tastings available via tasting tickets, and a welcoming atmosphere designed for all visitors, the festival fosters a warm and inclusive vibe. Enjoy it with friends, family, or simply out of curiosity to discover a drink that is definitely not done surprising us.
