After fresh pasta, it’s time for mascarpone. The team behind Sina, which already has several locations in Brussels, has just completely changed gears with Sinamisu, a new spot dedicated to one of the world’s most popular Italian desserts. Head to the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, where tiramisu is no longer just the last item on the menu—it’s become the very reason to walk through the door.
After pasta, tiramisu
Sina has built its identity around fresh, homemade pasta and accessible Italian recipes. With Sinamisu, the brand retains its Italian inspiration but moves straight to dessert. The new concept, specializing in artisanal, Italian-inspired desserts, has opened its first location in the historic heart of Brussels, at the Galerie du Roi.
The concept is simple: take a classic that everyone knows and give it enough prominence to make it a destination in its own right. So goodbye to the difficult choice between panna cotta, cannoli, and tiramisu. Here, the real choice begins only after you’ve decided to order a tiramisu.
Eight ways to dig into the mascarpone
The traditional coffee-and-cocoa version is, of course, on the menu, but the selection quickly ventures beyond that. Pistachio, speculoos, red berries, stracciatella, hazelnut praline, or even lemon-basil: the Venetian dessert comes in several variations, some of which are quite far removed from the recipe that Italian purists would champion.
The most “Brussels-style” option? A recipe inspired by the Liègewaffle—a way to bring together two culinary icons without asking national traditions for their opinion. Individual servings range from €8.50 to €11.50, depending on the flavor.
Under the glass roofs of the Galeries, Sinamisu adds a new sweet spot to the city center. And while Brussels already had plenty of places to indulge in sweet treats, here’s a spot where you can officially come… just for dessert!
