Anderlecht has no shortage of parks: in addition to Astrid Park and the parks along Marius Renard Avenue (Vives Park, Parc des Étangs, and Joseph Lemaire Park), there’s also the Pede Regional Park, where you can stroll along its ponds and leafy paths—and even say hello to its moorhens!
While the Escale du Nord (the Anderlecht Cultural Center) is also worth a visit, we also recommend stopping by Zinnema, the art center on Rue de Veeweyde. They offer a program focused on art and theater, including workshops on directing, acting, screenwriting, and personal development, among other topics.
